Why? How to change? As an upholsterer – and not as a furniture designer-, like a dresser – and not a fashion dictator – I would like to modestly smuggle in a bit of fantasy – a little fantasy word - into the living rooms.

I was thinking what could be the opposite of minimal? Maximal, of course. Maximalism in the interior.

The answer: LET IT BE MAXIMAL!

I repair couches, armchairs every day, and I see that monoton style, the nowadays so popular minimalist style. I was wondering what could be the alternative of this minimalist style... the answer was cristal clear: let it be maximal!

Many people know me as the Upholsterer from Buda, and I am pleased when they ask for a figured, braver, brighter and more colourful „new dress“ for their old furniture. Instead, most of them choose the secure grey and beige colors. As a result of the current fashion, it is really hard to find figured materials on the market.
